When does my trial start, and when will I pay?

The 7-day trial starts when the billing service confirms the plan you selected. The purchase screen shows the first payment date, amount and renewal period before you agree. Providing setup answers alone does not start the trial.

A payment method is required, but no subscription charge is due at the start of an eligible trial. The first charge is on day 8 unless you cancel before it. A reminder is sent 48 hours before that charge, with a push if allowed. Check You → Subscription for the actual date rather than counting from installation.
