Protein: how much you need and where to get it

Most adults need 0.8 to 1.6 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight a day. Older adults, people who lift and anyone eating less to lose weight usually sit toward the top of that range.

A range is hard to eat, though. So the articles here turn it into grams per egg, per chicken breast, per pot of Greek yogurt. Want to know if you actually hit it yesterday? Calsa adds up protein with your calories every time you log a meal.
