Who sees my food photos?

Your food photos are account data, not a public gallery. With your permission, a selected food or label photo is sent to the named recognition provider so it can identify foods. Recognition does not receive your diary, weight or goal.

Who gets your data names the provider and the purpose. The provider is not allowed to train on these requests, and its retention is at most 30 days. Meal photos stay with their entries until deleted. Label, menu and fridge photos have a 24-hour storage period in Calsa. You can switch AI off and continue manual logging.
