Can I use cups, pieces or millilitres instead of grams?

Yes, when the food has a supported measure. Calsa shows what a cup, piece or label serving represents, such as one piece with its gram amount. Check the displayed size before choosing it. Different foods and package portions are not interchangeable.

Millilitres need a volume-based food value or a supported density conversion. Calsa does not silently treat every millilitre as a gram. If a household measure is unavailable, use grams or ounces, or the supported volume for a drink. A restaurant item without a published weight can use an item count instead.
