Should I enter the raw weight or the cooked weight?
Match the weight to the entry. If you weighed rice dry, choose a dry-rice entry. If you weighed it after cooking, choose cooked rice and check the preparation method. The same number of grams can contain different amounts of food after water is gained or lost.
For a homemade dish, use the ingredient amounts and finished dish weight to calculate your portion. Check the state of each ingredient. Calsa does not silently assume they were all raw. There is no universal raw-to-cooked multiplier that works for every food.
