Logging meals with a photo

A photo calorie counter recognizes the food on your plate and estimates the portions. Recognizing the food is usually the easy part. Portions, cooking oil and sauces are where estimates drift, because a camera can't weigh anything or see what's mixed in.

Before you save a photo entry, check a few things, and know when typing or scanning is quicker. In Calsa, a photo result is an estimate you can fix in seconds, and once the grams are confirmed the calories come from a food database.

Put the numbers to work.

The guides show where each number comes from. In Calsa you log a meal by photo, voice or barcode, check the grams, and every calorie shows its source.
