What is included in my export, and in what format?

Your export is an archive with machine-readable account records, a readable copy and stored images as separate files. It includes email and sign-in methods without tokens, profile and goal versions, weight, diary positions, sources, photos and phrases, imported history, and your foods and dishes. It also includes chat, memory and reviews, Health values, message balances, consents, settings, invitations, subscriptions, payments and the list of data recipients. If you allowed product analytics, the archive also includes analytics data still held and linked to your account, including retained data held by PostHog. Deleted or unlinked analytics are not recreated.

Open You → Privacy and data → Export everything to request it. Sync device-only entries first, and inspect the archive before sharing it or deleting your account. It contains more than your food diary. If PostHog is temporarily unavailable, the available archive identifies the missing analytics part. The export request remains open until that part is completed. An unavailable source is not described as an empty history.
