How do I get an export from my old app and choose the right file?
Get a CSV export from your previous service, then open You → Privacy and data → Import history in Calsa. The official instructions below were checked on 11 October 2026. Export access and screens belong to those services.
MyFitnessPal: file export requires Premium or Premium+. On its website, sign in, open Reports → Export, select the dates and confirm Export. On iPhone, use More or your profile icon → Nutrition → Export → Date Range → Export My Information. On Android, use More → Progress or Nutrition → the Export icon, confirm email and dates, then Export. Open the email on a computer, choose Download Files and unpack the ZIP. Your Nutrition contains meal-level summaries. Your Progress contains measurements. Calsa can use compatible nutrition totals and weight rows, but not the exercise file or every measurement.
Cronometer: sign in on the web and open More, previously called Settings, then Account → Account Data → Export Data. Choose the export type and date range, and download the CSV. Choose diary entries for food history or biometrics for weight. Daily Nutrition provides daily totals, or a breakdown by meal when Include diary group rows is enabled. Check the selected file's fields. Calsa does not import exercises or notes.
Lose It!: sign in at my.loseit.com in a browser, then visit loseit.com/export/data. The full-history download starts automatically. Its current guide says weight-only export is unavailable, so use the full export for weigh-ins. Unpack any archive locally and select a compatible CSV for food history, totals or weight. Do not choose custom-goal data, which Calsa does not transfer.
Before importing, check columns, dates, units and whether rows represent foods, meals or whole days. Calsa accepts at most 2 MiB and 5,000 data rows per import. Use a smaller period or compatible split files for larger history. A printable report, PDF, XLSX or the ZIP itself is not an accepted history file. Use the Calsa History CSV v1 template if mapping fails, and confirm only after the preview is correct.
