Will importing add duplicates or overwrite my existing diary?

Calsa shows overlaps before you confirm the import. Your existing entries are not silently replaced.

Possible duplicates across files are skipped by default for you to review. Identical rows within one file may represent food eaten more than once, so they are not automatically collapsed.

If a period has both individual foods and an imported total, choose which layer counts. Adding a detailed meal later can require you to confirm that choice again. The original imported total remains available as history without being added twice.
