Why is an entry marked "estimate"?

An estimate means part of the entry is still uncertain. The amount may come from a photo, or Calsa may have matched your description to a similar food rather than an exact one.

Open the entry and check both the food and its amount. Enter a weighed amount or confirm the grams you have checked. Replace a similar food when you know the exact one. Confirming grams checks the portion only. It does not verify an unknown recipe or turn the meal into a laboratory measurement.
